Is creatine safe for me to whip??

Im 16, and ive been taking it for give or take a few 2 weeks, or maybe 3 idk, but im gonna run it in cycles..every other month...but is it nontoxic for me to take? and im takin pills form GNC call Creatine Monohydrate..they got approaching 3.5 grams of protein per pil, and i take 5 previously i workout and 1 on off days.
