Blood donation?
Why can't gay men donate blood? Straight men and women, bisexual men and women and lesbian women can all get HIV/AIDS also. It make no sense to single out gay men any more. Besides all that, the screening is so apposite that any contaminated blood is discarded anyway. So why the discrimination?

what a perfect question
Probably for impossible to tell apart reason that cancer survivors can't. Even if oral exam negative for HIV it may still be circulating in your body if you own ever had relationships next to positive people. The same near cancer cells. I am 3 year cancer survivor and the Red Cross stopped calling me when I told them I have cancer.
Probably lesbians are not included in the list is because near is minimal if any exchange of bodily fluids during their relationships. I guess they don't think open kissing counts as exchange of bodily fluid. and Heterosexuals are less probable to carry the virus (the ancient Victorian notion of only one partner and no experimentation previously or after marriage)
