I experienced this same problem, not solely with vitamins but other medication as well. It other seemed that if I took anything on a on a daily basis basis I started outlook a little bad, less vigour, less interest in vivacity. I started calling myself an accumulator as anything on a daily justification seemed to build up surrounded by me.
So what I did as a compromise on vitamins was to skip days here and here. Many years ago they used the term "pill holiday" or something approaching that to indicate taking days off from medication etc...
I think your husband is simply listen to his body which is commendable nowadays. Most nutritional guidance is just someone's marketing gimmick, they don't in fact know anything.
Have him try skipping a few days here and there. Oh, another entity, vitamins with minerals unquestionably made me feel awful. Using simply plain vitamins, a simple formulation, seemed much better.
vitamins should not slow him down. One point I read in this months Men's Health is roughly fish oils. At lowest have him transport that if anything. And honestly buy him a subscription to it, its the best bathroom material by far.

It's far more more likely that the cumulative effect of the day after day alcohol intake is "slowing him down" than vitamins. As regular damage to the liver builds up, the skill for this critical organ to keep the blood verbs slows down. This is going to have an impact that will make to every cell of the body.Increasing nutritional support (through better diet and appropriate use of supplements) can help support better organ function. When this happen the liver may "catch up" on the tasks on which it's getting at the back. Some people refer to this is "detox" or "cleansing" and it too can organize to feelings of fatigue because extra blood and oxygen are diverted to the liver to aid it do its job.
What adjectives this means is that as he sticks to a system of better nutrition, there might be a down time of year but over the long haul things are going to be better.
These are freshly some possibilities.
