Is benchpressing and running a Good Combo?


ive been on the objective to lose sum punds so ive decided to jump to the gym and work with weights( dumbell,incline,squats,benchpr... ETC..) and after in the evenings going joging..and also do some abdominal workouts.....do you estimate that would help me succeed surrounded by losing at least 20 pounds contained by the next couple months?? Or would it purely be a waste?
