Prostate surgery?

about 16 weeks ego i had tumt done because i be not able to empy the bladder completely.immediately i am worse than ever not a drop of urine come out.at the first visit i be told that if tump did not work next step is laser prostatectomy but immediately he change the story and told me subsequent step is turp.
should change doctor?
can laser prostatecomy [pvd] still be perform on me? thank you
