Better does not work for everyone. Intercourse, oral , hand etc should be undertake after a great deal of thought as to moral, social, vigour and psych issues. Most teenagers are not mature adequate to know what is best, just what feel best. I was too childlike when I started but you would never have convinced me of that at the time.
