How do I break my bad sleeping traditions?
For the past week or so, whenever I get home from school, I would run a 2-3 hour nap.
This cause me to not get plenty sleep at night. I usually dive asleep around 1:00 am - 1:30 am, leaving me beside only 5-6 hours of nightly sleep.
I know this is particularly unhealthy for a growing pubescent guy to do, so I do I break the habit?
Answers:
Keep awake when you get final home. No matter how sleepy you are, stay awake. Play video games, play basketball, look at a porn, anything keeps you awake. Then progress to sleep at the desired time you think you call for to go to bed. By next your energy will be so used up, you'll trickle asleep fast. Keep up this routine for similar to a week so it becomes a need. you might not feel so energized the first time but if you stick to it, you'll engender a habit. Also, if you enjoy a very unstable, harmful diet, you could sleep all 8 hours, you'll still quality and get exhausted pretty soon.
Remember, don't tender up, that's the point of habit forming. Rome wasn't built in a morning.

Don't take a rest anymore. I know it's hard but try to stay up. Then you'll be tired when you budge to bed and sleep eight hours.
