My boyfriend has a foreskin. He is 23. I be wondering if they can still do a circumcision? What would recovery time be approaching and how much pain would he be contained by? Also, can anyone think of a fitting way to broach the subject in need being insensitive?

Circumcision can be done, but it's painful (for newborn it's the procedure itself since they can't be put to sleep and for adults it's weeks of recovery and of no sex and masturbation for invigorating.

EDIT: If the problem is that it's being torn during sex, are you sure it's the foreskin? The foreskin is a double-layered tissue; it's kinda tough to achieve it torn.
Chances are that it's the frenulum; that's the thing below the head. That's tinny and has a primary blood vessel going through it.
If so, use a lubricant during sex to avoid friction. If that doesn't help, enlighten him he can get purely the frenulum removed and not the foreskin. It's an easier procedure.
