1) Probably not deviant, if you're curious, but if you do it a lot you might be overdoing things. If you own a purely innocent reason, simply wanting to know how you compare, consequently I guess you're fine.
2) If you're doing it a lot and you're getting erections, you might be bisexual, gay, curious, or of late confused. Dude, you're 13 years old, you hold a lifetime to decide on your sexuality. And if you are straight, don't verbs so much about your length or depth. Again, you're 13. You've got plenty of growing to do.

Many (ignorant) relations would consider this to be gay, but that is not necessarily the truth. Just because you find a semi-erection does not mean that you are aroused. Erections can evolve in masses situations, like extreme fright or rigidity, that have zilch to do with sex or arousal.
It is the legitimate catholic position that impure thoughts are not a sin unless they are acted upon.

1) Of course it's average. We are all concerned how we "consider up" in comparison to everyone around us.2) Is not an indication of whether you are gay or not--no situation as to one's proclivity to hetro or homo sexuality, we still are curious.
3) From my own perspective of being raise a Catholic along with adjectives of the sexual taboos that travel along with man Catholic, I would remind you that you are first and foremost a young mannish with adjectives of the maleness that that entails--recognize that religion is the article that keeps us on the straight and diminish but being human is what we are first.

1) It is clearly normal for you to be curious going on for sex, about your body, and in the order of how your body compares to other guys.
2) Watching videos of other guys within their underwear, or watching gay pornography even, is also quite regular. People often fantasize or meditate about sexual things that they would never in truth act on.
3) Being turned on by watching the video and/or masturbating to them is also normal behavior.
4) None of this have anything to do with your sexuality, i.e. mortal gay or straight. To determine that, you'd need to examine whether or not you be sexually and emotionally attracted to other guys and were drastically tempted to conduct yourself upon those feelings.
5) Everyone that I've ever met have masturbated over some really odd stuff at times.
6) It's a sin. Venial is minor logically and mortal is the more serious where you clearly do something to outrage God. I don't think that acting on hormones is you obviously challenging and trying to violate God's wishes. Not on purpose.

Maybe it's a short time ago because penises are a sexual thing and that's what cause you to get a semi-erection. Or perchance it's just a coincidence. At 13, EVERYTHING turned me on.
It prolly isn't a sin unless you look at it STRICTLY to return with aroused, IF you think that sort of piece is a sin.
