Lump checkup?
i asked this recently but i involve to rephrase it. my question is at a doctors will they do an ultrasound to look at a lump on my testicle or will they hold to send me to the hospital? is this th usual checkup for a lump?

Testicular ultrasound is remarkably good at visualize and diagnosing scrotal lumps. Most doctor's offices do not own the equipment necessary to do an ultrasound scan in their offices. Plus, if it be me, I would want a radiologist to interpert the findings. Radiologists are the experts at this part of the diagnosing process. I wouldn't want a radiologist to do my surgery, in recent times as I would not ask a surgeon to perform or read my imaging studies. You should be referred to the hospital's imaging department (radiology) or a free standing, independent imaging facility. Best wishes..

there may be a little of both. They may do an ultrasound or MRI to see the lump somewhat more clearly just ot construct sure that it's what they think it is. Your "lump" is probably your epididimus...if you are worried, see a doctor. All testes have a lump on the underside...explicitly a sperm storage depot.
