No.It will put you through dull pain but, it wouldn't harden anything. i don't believe it does but some martial artist consider it does...but this may come from them exercising their abs and making it hard so they can cart a punch in the first place
Maybe..if you know that it's coming and you instinctively tense-up your abdoman. It would be similar to a standing crunch. technically yes, because the internal bleeding will eventually cause adequate pressure against the inside of your belly to the point that your abs will feel approaching rocks... then you die.
